2008 has been a special year for Tirol. Tirol has been the heart of the European Championship Austria-Switzerland and the region has been pleased to share the enthusiasm for this event with five selected cities and present the host territory. It’s been organized, under the motto “Passion for football in the Tirol, a road show that in two months has crossed six countries. During this road show has been installed in the center of Milan a representation of Tirol in the shape of a giant balloon (13 m diameter) as location to host the event which has been inaugurated on April 18 evening with selected guests. The special guest of the event has been former footballer Hansi Müller ,VB Stuttgart. From 1982 to 1984 he played with Inter and later with Como and Tirol Innsbruck.
